Top Women’s College and Girls Youth Soccer teams will participate in:
12th Annual KICKS Against Breast Cancer Tournament
On April 12, 2008, the KABC Tournament will be held at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown, MD. This event will provide a weekend of college soccer and philanthropy. Gathering some of the best college soccer programs in the country, teams will make a difference on and off the field in the lives of people affected by cancer. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Howard County General Hospital’s Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource Center in Columbia, MD, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, a 501c3 non-profit organization supporting individual’s affected by cancer.
Games will begin at 10:00 am and will end with a 6:00 pm night game featuring the 2007 W-League Champions, Washington Freedom and Penn State University. Tickets for a full day of matches is $10.00. Tickets may be purchased online at www.kicksagainstbreastcancer.org.
